Job Description:

A successful candidate will possess superior communication skills, solid organizational skills, strong analytical and technical skills as well as a passion for developing impactful client relationships. They will have a clear understanding of the hedge fund sales process, the ability to effectively prioritize, and knowledge of the capital markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing financial advisers in order to market CAPQ’s products, as well as identify new sales opportunities within their territory to meet sales goals.
  • Schedule meetings in their territory.
  • Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by making proactive phone calls to financial advisers to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data and offer sales support.
  • Travel in designated territory one week per month.
  • Deliver effective presentations to promote CAPQ’s products, services and competitive advantages.
  • Train intermediaries to enhance industry and product knowledge in order to effectively communicate and build credibility with financial advisers and their investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications (e.g., ChFC, CIMA, etc.) preferred.
  • 3 years of sales experience within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong time management, scheduling, CRM, organizational, technology, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly while applying creativity.
  • Ability to work in a changing fast-paced high call volume environment, with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
